When I sat down with Gunter and Erica to make their wedding album, so many pages were dedicated to the party at the reception, that I almost feel like the shots of them as a couple were overshadowed. Whether it was Erica’s troop of dancers or Gunters constant need to play the air guitar, the reception at the Le Meridien Hotel in Cambridge was the most enjoyable of the year.
I was lucky enough to know a few people that were attending the Tough Mudder at Gunstock Mountain in Gilford, NH. According to the website, Tough Mudder is a “hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test your all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie” as well as “the premiere obstacle course series in the world.” Even though I didn’t participate, I would say that is the most accurate description I could come up with. I was nervous and out of breath half the time just watching people participate.
My favorite obstacles involved extreme teamwork – carrying, pulling, throwing, fire – yep, FIRE. There were a few obstacles that I was unsure were legal for civilian use but turned out to be the most rewarding challenges for those involved. Look at these happy faces!
At the end of the day, I’m positive that everyone who attended was glad they did it. In my opinion, it’s one of the most rewarding things to test how far you can push your body and see the results of a job well done. Congratulations to everyone who participated! We are available for event photography and are happy to set up a pricing plan for you.
