Headshot: Janet the Life Coach

For small business, your website is the most important marketing tool you have. Not only does your homepage need to inform, but it also sets the tone for how you potential customers will feel about you and your company.  Janet is a life coach in Newburyport, Mass.  She is an amazing person, but her website was dreadful.  We needed a photo that brought her magnetic personality, made customers comfortable with her and respect her advice.  She brought her smile and I brought my lights.

Boston: Custom House from Harvard Club

Working for the Joe Kearns Goodwin Campaign has been a wonderful experience, but even better is gaining access to some of the gorgeous and historical locations a State Senate candidate gets to visit. Last week I shot a fundraiser at the Harvard Club in Downtown Boston. I was in the perfect location to grab a few shots of Boston’s historical Custom House, which has long watched over Boston Harbor.

Check out some shots for the Joe Kearns Goodwin campaign.

ROTC Commissioning Ceremony

I was asked to shoot the Commissioning Ceremony for the Charles River Battalion of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps. Students from Boston University, Stonehill College, Bentley University, Bridgewater State College and Massachusetts Maritime Academy not only graduated from their schools, but also became 2nd Lieutenants in the U.S. Army. Best of all, the ceremony takes place in Historic Faneuil Hall in Boston. After, the new officers head outside in front of a packed Quincy Market to receive their first salutes. Truly a great event.

Sneak Peak: Murph’s Place Restaurant

Spent the morning shooting tasty food for a new website for Murph’s Place in Norwood, MA.  Nothing like staring at delicious omelets, pancakes and sandwiches without eating breakfast beforehand.  Still some great shots.  Here is a quick one of some wild chicken sandwich with onions and mushrooms.  Needless to say, once the shoot was done, that plate didn’t last very long.
